Full Stack Software Developer – Angular & Java Spring Boot

About the role

RBC’s homeX team is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Developer to design, code, and deliver high‑quality applications that support mortgage services for RBC customers. You will work in an Agile product team, collaborating closely with product owners and scrum masters to turn business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance client‑facing applications following modern development best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Participate actively in design, development, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with the Agile team, product owners, and scrum masters to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Angular for front‑end development.
• Hands‑on experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating to newer architectures.
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
