Full Stack Developer Student Co‑op

About the role

Full Stack Developer co‑op position at Remarcable, a Series A SaaS company transforming procurement for electrical contractors. The 4‑12 month term starts in January 2027 and offers hands‑on experience building features across the full stack.

Key responsibilities

• Build and iterate on product features with guidance from senior engineers.
• Diagnose and fix bugs that directly affect users.
• Support investigation of customer‑reported issues.
• Participate in code reviews and grow through constructive feedback.
• Work across backend, frontend, APIs, and data layers.
• Write clean documentation that supports ongoing development.
• Learn new tools, technologies, and engineering patterns with mentorship.

Required profile

• Active student at a recognized post‑secondary institution.
• Coursework or experience with Python (bonus if Django).
• Exposure to web development and core full‑stack concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic web application architecture.
• Understanding of SQL or relational database fundamentals.
• Comfort using Git for version control.
• Collaborative, positive mindset and eagerness to grow quickly.

Required skills

• Backend: Python, Django, REST APIs, PostgreSQL.
• Frontend: AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Infrastructure & tools: Docker, Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, logging and monitoring systems.
