Sr. Product Manager, Mobile App

About the role

The Senior Product Manager will lead the Rivian mobile app experience, shaping how owners interact with their electric vehicles daily. You will partner with the mobile product lead to define strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a cohesive, high‑quality app that spans vehicle status, remote commands, charging planning, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Drive core app initiatives from concept to launch, including home status, remote commands, onboarding, notifications, and alerts.
• Own the app’s information architecture, navigation, and interaction patterns to ensure a unified product experience.
• Improve app performance metrics such as launch time, command latency, reliability, and crash‑free rate.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end feature delivery across mobile and vehicle platforms, aligning with vehicle roadmap where applicable.
• Prioritize decisions using owner feedback, analytics, app‑store data, and third‑party quality signals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer products at scale.
• Direct experience shipping mobile applications on iOS or Android with ownership of release cadence and quality.
• Strong analytical fluency and ability to define metrics and act on data.
• Excellent communication and product writing skills.
