Full Stack Developer

About the role

Rentsync is seeking an experienced Full‑Stack Developer to join its Urbanation development team. You will help design, build, and maintain a high‑availability web application that powers customer‑facing data portals, admin tools, and reporting services for the rental and property‑management market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js/TypeScript (backend) and Vue.js (frontend).
• Implement new product features, enhancements, and UI components for data portals and admin tooling.
• Write clean, well‑tested, documented code following best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and make technical design decisions.
• Design, optimise, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines in Python with Apache Airflow.
• Develop background processing, job queues and integrate third‑party APIs.
• Implement caching strategies, performance improvements and security best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Conduct code reviews, collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders, and contribute to Agile ceremonies using Jira.
• Assist with deployment, AWS cloud infrastructure configuration and Docker containerisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building full‑stack applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and common design patterns.
• Frontend experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular acceptable).
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python and Apache Airflow.
• Proven ability to work in production environments and collaborate cross‑functionally.
