Front of House Operations Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front of House Operations Manager to lead daily front‑of‑house activities at our upscale Chotto Matte location in Toronto. Reporting to the General Manager and Assistant GM, you will ensure the brand’s luxury standards are consistently delivered while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily front‑of‑house operations, coordinating closely with back‑of‑house teams.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences that align with Chotto Matte’s brand standards.
• Drive service excellence through hands‑on leadership, staff training, and development.
• Monitor and improve workflows to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, and events teams for seamless service across all touchpoints.
• Maintain rigorous health, safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
• Support budget management, cost controls, and inventory oversight.
• Report performance metrics, challenges, and improvements to senior management.
• Act as a brand ambassador, fostering strong community and guest relationships.

Required profile

• 2+ years progressive hospitality and operations management experience in a high‑volume, full‑service dining environment.
• Experience in upscale, high‑end or lifestyle hospitality brands preferred.
• Deep understanding of premium guest service and luxury hospitality standards.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor diverse teams.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Solid financial acumen with P&L and budget management experience.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑pressure settings.
• Passion for food, beverage and immersive guest experiences.
