Front-End Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

Join Priceline’s Technology team as a Front-End Developer working in a hybrid model (two days in‑office). You will collaborate with a tight‑knit group of engineers, product managers, and designers to shape the customer interface and deliver high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in critical projects that directly influence Priceline’s business growth.
• Work within a cross‑functional agile team to experiment, iterate, and deliver new product objectives.
• Build dynamic, user‑facing features using React/JavaScript and integrate them with GraphQL APIs.
• Develop low‑latency, high‑throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automated testing.
• Write and execute SQL queries for real‑time data investigation and analysis.
• Understand the existing codebase, systems, and business requirements to implement effective changes.
• Collaborate openly with teammates, advocate for optimal solutions, and compromise when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of professional JavaScript experience on consumer‑facing projects.
• Demonstrated alignment with Priceline’s values: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, Trust.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• React (or other modern frameworks such as Angular, Ember)
• Node.js and Express
• GraphQL API development and consumption
• Functional programming concepts
