About the role
We are looking for a friendly receptionist to join our dental clinic in Fort McMurray. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling calls and supporting daily office operations. The role offers on‑the‑job training for candidates with no prior experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate service areas.
- Provide basic information to clients and the public.
- Operate the switchboard/telephone system and relay messages.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
- Maintain work records, logs, and perform data entry.
- Receive and issue payments, calculate billing charges.
- Order office supplies and perform clerical duties such as filing and mail distribution.
- Deliver courteous customer service throughout the clinic.
Required profile
- Efficient interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Flexibility, organization, and reliability.
- Team‑player attitude with the ability to multitask.
- Strong time‑management and maturity.
