Freelance Social Media Specialist (TikTok & Instagram)

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Social Media Specialist to design and execute a full‑stack strategy for TikTok and Instagram. The role focuses on personal branding, short‑form video creation, and organic audience growth for a premium life‑insurance client.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an end‑to‑end social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram, built from scratch.
• Define content pillars, positioning, and a consistent posting cadence.
• Transform client ideas into polished short‑form videos, graphics, captions, and copy.
• Produce, film, edit, and publish Reels, TikTok videos, Shorts, and related assets.
• Lead the personal rebrand to establish a cohesive, education‑first identity.
• Educate audiences on life insurance, family protection, and generational wealth in an accessible way.
• Grow accounts organically, drive inbound interest, and generate referrals.
• Track engagement, report performance, and continuously refine the approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and growing TikTok and Instagram accounts with measurable results.
• Strong short‑form video skills covering ideation, filming direction, and editing.
• Solid graphic design, caption writing, and copywriting abilities.
• Track record of building personal or founder‑led brands, including rebranding projects.
• Eye for premium, aspirational aesthetics and ability to simplify complex topics.
• Preferably familiar with finance or insurance concepts.
• Flexible, proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently.
