About the role
The Food Services Manager will lead daily operations for CANBE FOODS INC. in Scarborough, overseeing staff, inventory, and supplier relationships while ensuring high‑quality service for customers and catering clients.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, organize and control daily food service operations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide training.
- Recruit, schedule, and supervise a team of 11‑15 employees.
- Maintain inventory levels and negotiate with suppliers.
- Negotiate catering contracts and facility usage with clients.
- Address customer complaints and ensure client satisfaction.
- Set work schedules and manage overtime requirements.
- Coordinate weekend and day shift coverage.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Accurate, dependable, and organized.
- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication.
- Flexible and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
