About the role
We are looking for a proactive Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Cafe Japa Bowl in Saskatoon. You will ensure smooth daily operations, high-quality food preparation, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain work schedules for kitchen and service staff.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, monitor inventory and control waste.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant or food-service setting.
