Food Service Attendant

About the role

Join SSP Canada’s airport restaurant team as a Food Service Attendant, where you will prepare, serve, and sell a variety of food and beverages to travelers at Calgary International Airport. You will work in a secure, fast‑paced environment, ensuring guests enjoy a friendly and efficient dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and take orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the POS system and handle payments.
• Prepare, serve, and restock food and beverage items.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, coolers, and storage areas.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Adhere to health and safety standards throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a food‑service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada and ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
