About the role

Join a vibrant seafood restaurant as a First Cook, supporting daily kitchen operations and delivering high‑quality dishes to guests. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals as directed.
• Inspect kitchen and food‑service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Organise buffets, banquets, and special events.
• Assist in overall kitchen management and workflow coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of kitchen experience.
• No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Ability to follow dietary instructions and work under a chef’s guidance.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.
• Inventory tracking and supply ordering.
