About the role
We are looking for a Finish Grinder to join our sheet‑metal fabrication shop, producing high‑quality metal components. The role involves cleaning, grinding, and polishing metal parts to a mirror finish while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other residues.
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant using powered and manual methods.
- Grind or chip excess metal from products using hand tools and deburring equipment.
- Polish metal parts to achieve a mirror finish.
- Read and interpret work orders to ensure correct processing.
Required profile
- Dependable and flexible team player.
- Excellent oral communication and resourcefulness.
Required skills
- Operation of metal cleaning equipment.
- Hand‑tool grinding and chipping.
- Polishing to mirror finish.
- Use of deburrer and dolly equipment.
- Reading and interpreting work orders.
