Financial Controller

About the role

Inkeros, Canada’s fastest‑growing omnichannel marketing vendor, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its Vancouver office. The role is on‑site and reports to senior management, driving the company’s financial strategy and ensuring accurate accounting, reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting and bookkeeping, overseeing the external bookkeeping service provider.
• Coordinate with the external accounting firm for year‑end close and preparation of T4A statements.
• Administer payroll and group benefits, and process monthly invoices from contractors and vendors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning in partnership with department heads.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity to support business growth.
• Oversee audit preparation, manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors, and ensure timely tax filings.
• Produce accurate financial reports and analyses for senior management and the board.
• Identify financial risks, implement internal controls and develop risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• CPA designation (or equivalent) with several years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting, payroll administration and financial reporting.
• Experience managing audits, tax filings and working with external advisors.
