About the role

Join Ganotec as a Field Engineer / Project Coordinator and play a pivotal role in delivering large‑scale industrial projects across Canada and the United States. You will combine hands‑on field leadership with strategic project coordination to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise subcontractor operations on‑site, enforcing strict safety and quality standards.
• Conduct field inspections, safety audits, and routine site walkthroughs.
• Coordinate material logistics, workflow, and site organization to optimise execution.
• Develop and manage detailed work packages in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor budgets, and control scope.
• Oversee documentation such as design specifications, as‑built records, and turnover reports.
• Review plans to identify risks, quantify material needs, and support procurement.
• Assist commissioning phases and resolve technical issues on‑site.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in field engineering or project coordination within heavy industrial or construction environments.
• Proven ability to lead on‑site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work fly‑in/fly‑out assignments.
