Family Practitioner (Job Share) – Clinical & Hospital Role

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practitioner or General Practitioner to join our team in a unique job‑share arrangement. The position splits time between outpatient clinic work and hospital or elective activities, offering flexibility and professional diversification.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage a shared panel of patients in an outpatient clinic (0.5 FTE) alongside a fellow physician, ensuring continuity of care and patient‑centered practice.
• Provide inpatient, emergency or elective hospital services (0.5 FTE) or pursue teaching, research, procedural work or other professional interests as agreed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive primary‑care services.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Practitioner or General Practitioner.
• Willingness to work in a job‑share arrangement, sharing responsibilities equally with another physician.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, continuity of care and patient safety.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and management of adult and pediatric patients.
• Hospital inpatient and emergency care competencies.
• Ability to document and bill under an alternative payment arrangement.
