About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our clinic in Edmonton. You will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive health, disease management, and wellness promotion.
Key responsibilities
- Collect medical information from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Examine patients to identify diseases, injuries, and health concerns.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and support on health, lifestyle, and wellness issues.
- Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including follow‑up and referrals.
- Deliver emergency care when needed.
Required profile
- Degree in medicine (or equivalent qualification).
- 1 to less than 2 years of clinical experience.
- Strong attention to detail and client‑focused attitude.
- Team player with good communication skills.
