Family Physician – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

The clinic is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in Calgary. This permanent, full‑time position involves direct patient interaction, preventive health counseling, and coordination of care across multiple specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Collect detailed medical histories from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases, injuries, and mental health conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, and perform routine surgical procedures when required.
• Provide prenatal, post‑natal, and obstetric care, including delivery of babies.
• Coordinate acute, emergency, and chronic care management, acting as the primary patient advocate.
• Collaborate with other physicians and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required profile

• Medical degree with licensure by provincial/territorial authorities and LMCC certification.
• College of Family Physicians certification (CCFP) and at least 2‑3 years of clinical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a client‑focused approach.
• Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and adherence to professional ethics and values.
