About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our private practice in Calgary. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and overall wellness.
Key responsibilities
- Collect medical histories from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide vaccinations.
- Consult with specialists to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
- Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices and provide counseling.
Required profile
- Medical degree (MD, DMD, DVM, or OD) with licensure by provincial authorities.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
- Experience in a private practice setting is an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, days, weekends.
