About the role
We are seeking a compassionate family caregiver to provide in‑home support for a client in Saint‑Jean‑sur‑Richelieu. The role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and offering companionship. Flexible scheduling is available, including morning, day and evening shifts, and the position supports newcomers and refugees through integration resources and mentorship opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with regular exercise such as walking to promote mobility.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Deliver personal care assistance.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Cook meals according to client preferences.
- Handle items up to 13.5 kg (30 lb) safely.
