About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Family Caregiver to provide personal and bedside care for elderly clients in Richmond Hill. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including medication and non‑sterile dressings.
- Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and regular exercise such as walking.
- Prepare, serve, and cook nutritious meals, and shop for food and household supplies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and maintain a non‑smoking environment.
- Support feeding assistance and monitor client wellbeing.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation; First Aid Certificate.
- 1–2 years of caregiving experience with elderly clients.
- Criminal record check required.
- Availability for day, night, weekend, and on‑call shifts.
- Personal qualities: punctual, reliable, patient, honest, organized, and initiative‑driven.
