About the role
We are seeking a compassionate family caregiver to provide in‑home support for an elderly client in Kelowna. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and promoting a comfortable living environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including medication management.
- Assist with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
- Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility assistance.
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals, and handle grocery shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Punctual, dependable, patient, honest, and flexible.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Client‑focused attitude and strong teamwork.
