Family Caregiver – In-Home Support for Seniors

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Family Caregiver to provide in‑home support for seniors and individuals with disabilities in Toronto. The role involves delivering personal care, medication administration, and companionship in a private household setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration and change non‑sterile dressings.
• Assist with regular exercise, walking, and mobility support.
• Plan therapeutic diets, prepare nutritious meals (including Korean cuisine), and shop for food supplies.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.

Required profile

• Valid CPR, First Aid, and Personal Support Worker certificates.
• Ability to work with clients who have Alzheimer’s, intellectual, physical, or other disabilities.
• Physical capability to handle loads between 61‑80 kg, stand, walk, and perform demanding tasks.
• Strong interpersonal qualities: punctual, reliable, patient, and team‑oriented.
• Criminal record check and references required.
