About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance to clients in a private residence in North Vancouver.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist clients with water activities such as pool use.
- Support regular exercise, including walks.
- Feed or assist with feeding and plan therapeutic diets and menus.
- Prepare, serve, and cook nutritious meals.
- Launder clothing and household linens, mend items, and perform light housekeeping.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Provide companionship and personal care.
- Ensure security and safety through criminal record checks.
Required profile
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in home support or related field.
- Demonstrated punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, good judgment, organization, reliability, teamwork, patience, and honesty.
