Facility Operator

About the role

SECURE is seeking a Facility Operator to manage day‑to‑day operations at its Drayton Valley waste, oil and water treatment facility. The role combines safe plant operation with strong customer service, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and supervise 12‑hour shift cycles, including truck unloading, oil emulsion handling, and water injection.
• Run oil treating equipment such as treater, cooler, and tank systems.
• Manage waste processing, mud tank operation, shaker and centrifuge functions, and solids treatment.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and transportation of crude oil while meeting quality compliance.
• Perform pump maintenance, filter changes, and boiler/steam system operations.
• Complete daily plant checklists, truck ticket summaries, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in the Health & Safety Management System and corporate compliance programs.
