Experienced Bus Driver – London

About the role

Arriva London is seeking experienced PCV‑licensed drivers to join its Edmonton garage. You will operate public‑service buses across London, transporting commuters, tourists and schoolchildren while representing a key part of the city’s transport network.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes safely and on schedule, including early‑morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
• Provide courteous customer service, assisting passengers with enquiries and fare issues.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, inspected and complies with safety standards before and after each shift.
• Report any incidents, mechanical problems or safety concerns to the depot manager promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• PCV licence with at least 12 months of relevant experience within the past four years.
• Valid driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including early mornings and evenings.
