About the role
Join Galactica Logistics as a truck driver operating straight or articulated tractor‑trailers on long‑haul, national and international routes. You will work as part of a two‑person team or convoy, transporting goods safely across Canada and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Drive straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods and materials on long‑haul, national and international routes.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections, checking tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment and overall vehicle condition.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and report any issues to central dispatch.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatch, relay information and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- Valid passport, basic security clearance, driving record check and drug test.
- No prior experience required – training provided.
- Availability for early‑morning, evening, night, day and weekend shifts.
