About the role

The Executive Director will lead PULAARVIK KABLU Friendship Centre’s Inuit healing and wellness programs across the Kivalliq Region. This senior position is responsible for driving growth, ensuring financial sustainability, and fostering a supportive environment for staff and community members.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a budget ranging from $118,000 to $130,000 annually.
• Manage a team of 20‑25 employees, providing direction, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Develop and implement strategic plans that expand wellness services and strengthen community impact.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and reporting requirements.
• Represent the centre with external partners, funders, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a non‑profit or community‑focused organization.
• Strong people‑management and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage large budgets and complex projects.
