About the role
Metrolinx is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Vice President of the Rail and Fleet Maintenance Division. This full‑time, on‑site position provides high‑level administrative assistance, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the executive’s daily calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Coordinate and prepare documents, board reports, presentations, and other correspondence to meet established deadlines.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating accurate information flow.
- Arrange meetings with senior internal and external partners, handling logistics and follow‑up.
- Maintain office equipment and ensure continuous availability of resources.
- Assess incoming requests, research issues, and respond or escalate as appropriate.
Required profile
- Proven experience providing executive‑level administrative support.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
