Entry-Level Baker

About the role

Join COBS Bread as an entry‑level baker and help deliver fresh, artisan bread and treats to local communities each day. No prior baking experience is required – just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for quality baked goods.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a small team to bake bread and pastries each morning following detailed recipes.
• Maintain a clean and safe bakery environment.
• Read production schedules, measure and mix ingredients, shape dough, and operate ovens.
• Assist with inventory handling and ensure product freshness for customers.

Required profile

• Early riser able to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Strong work ethic with pride in serving the community.
• Good organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 22 kg, and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of recipe reading and ingredient measurement.
• Ability to operate bakery equipment such as ovens and mixers.
