Engineering Liaison – Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer

About the role

Bombardier is seeking an Engineering Liaison to support the design, production and delivery of high‑performance aircraft. The role bridges technical teams and production operations, ensuring that engineering solutions are cost‑effective, timely and aligned with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering documents and conduct technical investigations to develop cost‑effective solutions.
• Support daily production and delivery activities, addressing structure and system installation issues.
• Provide technical support for Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) raised by Quality agents.
• Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste and improving financial performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Systems, Stress, Thermodynamics, Materials & Processes, Propulsion, Environmental Control, Logistics, Methods, Quality and Operations.
• Contribute to the Operational Excellence methodology and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent technical degree).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineer or 7 years as a Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Availability for rotating evening and weekend schedules.
• Proficiency in written and spoken French and English.
• Organizational and planning abilities with sound judgment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
