Emergency Medicine Physician – Full Time

About the role

Join a dedicated team at Langley Memorial Hospital’s new Emergency Department and make a direct impact on community health. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a modern 200‑bed facility with comprehensive diagnostic services and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical care to a growing patient population.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, allied health, and specialist teams to ensure timely and appropriate treatment.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and acute care procedures as required.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and departmental development.

Required profile

• FRCPC or CCFP EM certification.
• Current CPSBC full license or provisional/eligible status.
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS and PALS.
• Eligibility for full licensure in Canada (CPSBC) and USA certification accepted.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
