About the role
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead a unionized mill maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring safe, productive operations while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and uphold company policies, values, and legal requirements across the organization.
- Lead a unionized team to optimise maintenance activities and coordinate routine and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate closely with operating departments and planners to execute mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to employees through active observation.
Required profile
- Red Seal trade certificate or a diploma/degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising trades in a unionised industrial environment.
- Excellent communication skills, self‑awareness, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
