About the role
We are looking for a skilled Drywall Installer to join Erb Builders in Saint John, NB. The position involves installing and finishing drywall systems on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and compliance with building codes.
Key responsibilities
- Apply successive coats of joint compound, sand seams and joints, and smooth excess material.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to create acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- Measure, cut, fit and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.
- Use a taping machine to embed tape in compound and finish joints.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation.
Required skills
- Drywall installation.
- Metal ceiling grid fabrication.
