Driver Coordinator / Dispatcher (Flatbed)

About the role

The Driver Coordinator / Dispatcher (Flatbed) acts as the communication hub between our flat‑bed drivers and operations. You will ensure dispatch information is delivered accurately, monitor satellite messages, and provide coaching to help drivers meet performance and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support driver retention initiatives and maintain fair work distribution.
• Communicate dispatch details to flat‑bed drivers as required.
• Monitor driver performance, mileage, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to drivers’ satellite messages.
• Assist drivers in developing required skills such as customs, hazmat, Hours of Service, and regulatory compliance.
• Update Transport Management Software (AOS) with relevant data.
