Donor Relations Manager – Western Canada

About the role

The Donor Relations Manager for Western Canada will lead the development and stewardship of existing and prospective donors across Alberta. Working remotely, you will collaborate with the Donor Relations Director and cross‑functional teams to grow major and planned gifts that support World Renew’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of donors, creating and executing individualized engagement and Moves Management plans.
• Conduct personalized outreach through visits, calls, written correspondence and virtual meetings.
• Research donor history, giving patterns and capacity to inform strategies.
• Maintain accurate donor interaction records in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Development teams to ensure coordinated engagement.
• Identify, qualify and cultivate prospective major and planned‑gift donors.
• Prepare proposals, case statements and impact reports tailored to donor interests.
• Promote planned‑giving opportunities and participate in fundraising campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in donor relations, major‑gift fundraising or planned giving.
• Ability to manage a donor portfolio and meet regional fundraising targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort conducting in‑person and virtual meetings.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for office visits and donor events.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) proficiency.
