Director / VP of Finance (Hybrid, GTA)

About the role

The Director / VP of Finance will lead all finance and accounting functions for a fast‑growing frozen pizza brand in the Greater Toronto Area. This full‑time hybrid position supports strategic decision‑making by delivering accurate financial insights, modeling scenarios, and evaluating investments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis and profitability assessments for products, pricing and investments.
• Manage financial controls, coordinate external audits and optimise finance systems and processes.
• Partner with operations, sales, supply‑chain and other cross‑functional teams to build a scalable finance function.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in CPG, food & beverage or consumer products.
• Proven leadership in building finance capabilities within a growth‑oriented environment.
• Professional designation such as CPA or CFA and a university degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Experience in startup or fast‑scaling companies is an asset.
