Director of Operations & Supply Chain

About the role

Summit Water is looking for an experienced Director of Operations & Supply Chain to lead operational excellence across its growing portfolio of water systems, pumps, packaged solutions and service operations. This hands‑on leader will drive efficiency, build scalable processes and support the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise production, supply‑chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Design and implement strategies that improve efficiency, productivity and overall operational performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, reduce costs and improve service delivery.
• Strengthen inventory management, purchasing processes and logistics performance to support business growth.
• Improve operational systems, reporting and ERP processes for better visibility and decision‑making.
• Standardise processes across multiple divisions to create consistency and scalability.
• Partner with sales, finance and service leadership to align operational priorities with company goals.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and support long‑term profitability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution or industrial environments.
• Proven track record of improving processes, increasing efficiencies and leading operational transformation.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, KPIs and operational planning.
• Experience leading multiple teams or departments in complex operational settings.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
• Lean or continuous‑improvement mindset is an asset.
