About the role

The Director, Digital Transformation and Innovation will lead BCI’s adoption of emerging technologies, with a current emphasis on artificial intelligence. Based in Victoria, the role works closely with investment teams and corporate functions to turn technology concepts into practical business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑potential AI and emerging‑technology opportunities across the firm.
• Drive initiatives from ideation through experimentation, piloting, and operational rollout.
• Serve as a visible champion for technology, representing BCI at internal and external events.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to embed technology into institutional investment processes.
• Engage with clients and portfolio companies on AI‑related topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or a related field; MBA, CFA or similar designation is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in investment management, capital markets, banking, consulting or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of institutional investment processes and the asset‑management industry.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a track record of applying emerging technologies to solve business problems.
