Director, Business Development & Partnerships

About the role

The Director, Business Development & Partnerships will lead Flair Vacations’ growth strategy, building strong relationships with travel advisors, agencies and other industry stakeholders across Canada. Reporting to the President of Flair Vacations, this senior leader will act as a brand ambassador while driving commercial performance and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Flair Vacations as a brand ambassador with professionalism and confidence.
• Support the development and commercialization of vacation products.
• Develop and execute a commercial strategy aligned with corporate performance objectives.
• Set revenue targets, performance metrics and accountability frameworks for the agency sales function.
• Analyze market conditions, conduct competitor benchmarking and make data‑driven recommendations on commercial terms and product development.
• Provide sales forecasts, performance reporting and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Identify, prioritize and develop strategic agency partnerships and network relationships across Canada.
• Lead commercial negotiations with agency and trade partners, including commission structures and performance‑based agreements.
• Drive advisor engagement, market penetration and trade presence in key Canadian markets.
• Develop, oversee and adjust agency programs based on ROI and market conditions.
• Deliver inspiring presentations to diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in business development, commercial strategy and partnership management.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
