Digital Editor – French Culinary Content (Hybrid)

About the role

Join CBC/Radio-Canada’s Digital Television team as a French‑language Digital Editor focused on culinary content. You will bring the Mordu brand to life across social platforms, create engaging copy, and help Canadians discover the latest food trends.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage Mordu’s social media communities on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Engage with users, respond to inquiries, and foster interaction.
• Write and produce compelling copy, headlines, and website content in French.
• Produce and distribute the Mordu newsletter, manage subscriber lists and track performance metrics.
• Stay ahead of platform‑specific trends and best practices.
• Maintain a strategic vision aligned with team objectives and manage the publication calendar.
• Analyze performance data, provide actionable recommendations and adapt content strategies.
• Safeguard the brand’s interests and ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in digital culinary content or social media.
• Passion for food, cooking and modern food culture.
• Strong French writing skills with excellent command of written French.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video processing tools.
• Advanced knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Experience in community management.
