About the role
The Audiovisual Assistant B supports the installation, operation, and recording of equipment for CIRMMT productions and events, working under the direction of an immediate supervisor. This part‑time role involves direct interaction with users and hands‑on technical support for a variety of campus events.
Key responsibilities
- Greets users and answers specific inquiries with a positive attitude, providing detailed information about equipment use.
- Sets up props and audio/video equipment and records events such as lectures, concerts, workshops, and meetings.
- Schedules audio/video equipment and rooms to record events.
- Maintains work area and spaces to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent professional experience.
- At least one year of related experience with audio/video equipment.
- Availability for necessary events, including evenings and weekends.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
