DevSecOps Engineer Co‑op/Internship (Winter & Summer 2027)

About the role

The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer co‑op/intern to join its Technology department for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. You will support the creation of CI/CD pipelines, automate Power Platform solutions, and develop low‑code workflow apps while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing investment‑management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the DevSecOps Manager with CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation testing.
• Develop low‑code solutions, automation flows, and productivity apps within Microsoft Power Platform.
• Document onboarding processes and enhance existing team documentation.
• Research and recommend best‑of‑breed tools to advance DevSecOps practices.
• Conduct surveys of current deployment practices and propose streamlining opportunities.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Fundamental knowledge of basic business and investment‑related disciplines.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Interest in investment management and commitment to high ethical standards.
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg is an asset.
