DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native Kubernetes (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate cloud-native infrastructure that supports Camel-based services on Kubernetes. The role is contract-based, based in Toronto with a hybrid work model (three days onsite per week).

Key responsibilities

• Provision, configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Handle application deployments, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Manage container image repositories and Helm charts.
• Configure Kubernetes secrets, ConfigMaps and Persistent Volume Claims.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ensure high availability, reliability and production‑grade stability of services.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enable seamless deployments.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Helm is a plus.
