About the role

We are looking for a motivated Developer to join the ABM Domain engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering, you will help translate business needs into secure, scalable, cloud‑native solutions that improve ABM functionality for our banking clients.

Key responsibilities

Perform system analysis, technical design, documentation, and production support for new and existing applications.
Recommend best‑practice enhancements aligned with the bank’s technology roadmap.
Partner with project teams to refine technical requirements and provide design guidance.
Design, develop, unit‑test, debug, document, and implement applications and automation scripts.
Contribute to effort estimation, development planning, and production deployments.
Analyze production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive remediation.
Support the ABM Engineering team in understanding system behavior and identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of hands‑on experience in systems analysis, design, and development of enterprise solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.

Required skills

Cloud platforms: GCP and/or AWS
Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
Programming: Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+
Databases: SQL, MongoDB
CI/CD: Jenkins (or similar pipelines)
Front‑end: HTML, CSS, Angular, React, jQuery, Bootstrap
Event streaming & caching: Kafka, Redis
Additional assets: C#.NET, Black Duck, Fortify, WebInspect, SonarQube
Network & security: VPN, firewalls, load balancers, SSL/TLS, OAuth, JWT
Developer tools: Eclipse/STS, IntelliJ, VS Code, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Git, Gradle, Maven
Observability (optional): Splunk, Dynatrace
