Desktop Support Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to deliver reliable technical assistance to end‑users across Ontario. This long‑term contract role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software and productivity tools to ensure a stable and efficient desktop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on and remote support for desktops, laptops, peripherals and other workplace technology.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 applications, user access issues and general productivity tools.
• Set up, configure and deploy hardware and software for new hires, existing staff and device replacements.
• Respond to service requests promptly, document incidents clearly and follow issues through to resolution.
• Diagnose system, connectivity and performance concerns, escalating complex problems when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates and basic asset support to keep desktop environments running smoothly.
• Assist employees with account‑related questions, application usage and day‑to‑day technical guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent IT service delivery and minimize business disruption.

Required profile

• Experience providing desktop or technical support in a corporate or service‑driven environment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for Windows‑based devices, peripherals and standard desktop software.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non‑technical users.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple support requests and competing priorities.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documenting tickets, resolutions and support activities.
• Customer‑focused, dependable and solution‑oriented work style.
