Derivatives Analyst – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Derivatives Analyst to help train and evaluate AI Assistant models for finance professionals. You will use your finance expertise to review AI responses, test complex scenarios, and provide structured feedback that improves model accuracy and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Review and improve AI Assistant answers on macro trends, corporate finance, and capital markets.
• Design and present diverse, real‑world financial problems to test AI reasoning.
• Evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and logical soundness.
• Identify edge cases where model reasoning fails and document findings.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to guide model enhancements.

Required profile

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical mindset.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or PhD) preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional experience in finance, preferably in derivatives, macro analysis, or corporate finance.
• Must be located in Canada and able to work as an independent contractor.
