About the role

RONA is seeking a Department Manager to lead a store department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and operational excellence. You will be the key point of contact for your team, overseeing daily activities, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise department work according to priorities and company standards.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Execute merchandising duties as directed by the Store Manager.
• Oversee the replenishment process and inventory accuracy.
• Manage promotional activities and stay informed on market trends and competitors.
• Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and budgeting for labor while meeting customer needs.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Perform additional tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in personnel and retail management.
• Proven ability to lead teams autonomously and resourcefully.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
