Data Strategy & Analytics Analyst

About the role

Enercare Inc. is seeking a Data Strategy & Analytics Analyst to join its growing analytics team in Markham. You will work with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and the Azure data platform to create data products that support decision‑making across call‑center, finance, marketing and back‑office functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare datasets and assist with semantic models for domain data products.
• Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards that clearly communicate insights.
• Develop semantic models using star‑schema and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Use Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse) to ingest, transform and ready data for analysis.
• Apply prompt‑engineering techniques with AI copilots to improve data exploration and documentation.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Support data‑governance activities, including quality checks, documentation and metadata updates.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into analytical outputs.
