Data Entry Coordinator

About the role

The Data Entry Coordinator supports operational and customer‑service functions by handling incoming calls, emails, and alarm notifications. You will ensure accurate documentation, promote a positive service atmosphere, and work closely with internal teams and external technicians to resolve issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve operational, customer service, and employee issues.
• Interact with external and internal customers via telephone and email.
• Promote a positive customer‑service environment.
• Initiate action when irregular signals or trouble are detected.
• Coordinate with outside repair technicians and internal contacts to restore circuits and signaling devices.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and special instructions.
• Respond quickly and precisely to incoming phone calls.
• Document all alarm activity and subscriber calls using a PC and activity reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fluent English; bilingual French is a plus.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Shift assignments based on seniority.

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Computer proficiency with fast keyboarding (40+ WPM preferred).
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Composure and accuracy when managing potential emergency situations.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
